Winifred Wimbush (1884-1958) came from a family of artists. She was the daughter of Henry Wimbush (1858-1943) who usually signed his work as H B or Henry B Wimbush and sister of Olive (1901-1985) who was also an artist.
The picture above entitled "Guernsey Flower Girl" is said to be of Winifred aged about 16-18 years old, as painted by her father Henry B Wimbush.
Winifred's art appeared on Tuck postcards in the early 1900s, around & during World War I.
